1. Ouzo: is a Greek anise-flavored liqueur that is widely consumed in Greece.
2. Sake: is a Japanese alcoholic beverage, brewed from rice.
3. Arak: a clear, colorless liqueur made in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. Made from grapes and anise, arak is closely related to the Greek ouzo and to the French pastis.
4. Mezcal: is a Mexican distilled spirit made from the agave plant. There are many different types of agaves, and each produces a slightly different mezcal.
5. Porto: a fortified wine from made with grapes from the Douoro region of Portugal.
6. Pisco: is a distilled brandy from grapes. Widely consumed in Peru and Chile.
7. Grappa: is an Italian grape-based spirit of between 40% and 50% vol. It is made from the distillation of the pieces of grapes that were pressed for the winemaking process.
8. Cachaca: is the most popular distilled alcoholic beverage in Brazil, made from sugarcane juice.
9. Kirschwasser: is a clear alcoholic spirit made from distilling the fermented juice of a small black cherry. Made in both Germany and France.
10. Framboise: is a lambic beer fermented using raspberries which are native to Belgium. It is also known by the Flemish name Frambozen.
